Introduction

Wonderful meal enjoyed overlooking Bennett Valley; great food and company to match "le reserve du patron". Chris and Lorna, always the perfects hosts. We had grilled lamb and chicken with cous-couscous and a cucumber salad.

    very impressive..enjoyed at the source! Deep purple with great fruit..cherries and berries up front, and anise in the mid-plate. Tannis arer smoothing out, long finish; this one is good for another 5 years.

Flight 2 - finished off with the 1988 (1 Note)

    A year made a big difference; the Cab Franc is under control and the wine (not decanted opened up nicely in the glass); good for another 4 years or so

Lovely evening, and the wines were perfectly chosen to compliment the meal and company...great fun, as always!
