    White from the volcanic part of Tuscany on the border with Lazio (Maremma). Vines are 35-40 years old. 90% Trebbiano, 10% Malvasia. Volcanic soil. It slightly reminds me of Timorasso - there is this oiliness, a sense of earth and all that, although of course not as strong. Still pretty strong taste, smells very interesting, natural and a little wild, but at the same time everything is balanced. It would be great with Roman pastas (carbonara, amatriciana)
