As result of a wine trip to Priorat, Spain, Pieter decided to share some of his wine treasures with a small group.
Thank you so much Pieter! It was an absolute treat!!
And also the catering with e.g. oysters, several cheeses, olives and the wild boar from Tjeu, was more than just ok.

Red and dark berries and well dosed oak in the bouquet and on the palate. Some bell pepper, medium+ acidity and still youthful and somewhat sticky tannin. Wait another 3 - 5 years.

Expressive bouquet with fresh dark berries and well dosed oak. Same on the palate, some autumn impressions, good acidity and tannin which is not fully integrated yet. Juicy and a good length.

Beautiful, luxurious and complex bouquet with some autumn impressions, sweet spices, cedar, smoke and beautiful oak. On the palate dark berries, smoke, toast, soft and sweet licorice, complex and elegant. Beautiful acidity and fully integrated soft tannin. Delicious and an enormous length. A luxurious treat and the wine still has a good future ahead.

1990 Château Lafite Rothschild 97 Points
France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Pauillac
Beautiful and complex, exquisite bouquet which is still even a bit reticent. On the palate luxurious with juicy dark berries, some smoke and graphite, a slight touch of pleasant sweetness, beautiful acidity and round, well integrated tannin. A luxurious and beautiful, refined wine which still can be cellared some years.
