Blind, disgorged 26 Jun 2023, left cellar 18 Jun 2023, dosage 3g/l, this was showing better than a month ago, chalky, saline, high acid, precise on the palate, med body, with aggressive mousse.
Blind, lot 15/1, No 877, 36 months on lees, disgorged March 2019, complex bouquets of orange peel, floral, ginger, spice, nutty, high acid on the palate, finish med, everything is well integrated and in place. Definitely can tell the oak influence but masterfully used. Drinking beautifully now and can age for a couple more year for the acid to resolve.
Rather oxidative initially, showing almond, marzipan, mousse was rather fine, candied on the palate, with high acid. Not the typical Savart style I associate with. Perhaps it was a leaf day?
