Pale yellow with some greenish nuances. Notes of peaches and apricot, very intense. Very good acidity and balance. Medium finish.

2003 Falesco Umbria Vitiano Rosso 89 Points

By far the best Vitiano vintage I've tasted. This fruity red has a nice lively red color, a very intense raspberry aroma, floral notes also. Nicely balanced, the acidity is perfect. Very pleasant wine, only gets better after sometime on the glass. Great Value.

First Aglianico taste I had. This one was earthy, spicy, some animal notes too. On the palate it was agressive, a little hard, robust, definately unique.Lot's of tannins and probably will get better with some aging.

Black. This is impenetrable dark. Very intense and complex on the nose. Moist Asfalt, cloves, and lot's more. Nicely balanced, bitter chocolate, thick, lot's of tannins, this will definately benefit a ton from more aging. A very impressive job from the winemaker and a unique caracter.
