Introduction
The wine making style is very extracted in colour. It’s purple and close to deep in colour. Even though the use of new oak is max 20% for Grand Cru, the wine is still high tannin and close to full bodied. The wine need a lot of ageing time to soften, in fact drinking young is a waste of money. Their wines making from village to Grand cru are the same, only the usage of oak and terroir that differ. The nose and notes are roughly identical, only the structure of the wine; acidity, tannin, finish, alcohol will differ.

Arlaud wine need serious ageing time and probably min 10-15 year ageing for their 1er.

Couldn’t find any information and on my notes it was a Marsannay Blanc, so I guess it the negociant wine and their first vintage. Notes of peach, pear and tropical fruits.
