  • 2012 Domaine Dujac Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Aux Combottes 93 Points

France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru

Ruby color. Very closed on the nose with muted red fruit. The palate is quite tense, with strong game, venison, dried herbs and sour red fruit. Great acidity and structure, with a long finish. However, I kept half the bottle for the next day and what a difference a bit of air did. The nose became floral and also showed much more fruit than the first night. In my opinion, if you want to enjoy now, decant.
