    Clear, youthful deep ruby color. Cool, lean and a bit tart nose. On the palate clean, lean, salty, quite fresh, spicy. Medium acidity, fine bitter notes, medium length. Really Mouton? Ok, first wine, first pirate :) 88-89

    Clear, deep garnet color with a noticeable water rim. Ripe nose with lots of tertiary notes, herbs, spices, some lovage.
    On the palate clean, fading tannin, quite round and with a good balance. Some worn leather, graphite, a bit cedar wood, lots of soil notes, lively acidity, not very deep and complex. Drink up. 87-88

    Clear, glowing garnet color, fine water rim. Clean, deep, spicy and lively nose with some fine oak notes.
    On the palate clean, fresh, dense and deep. Fine tobacco notes, spices, graphite, leather and a beautiful mineral core. Lively acidity that makes the wine rather juicy. Good length with fine fruit and tobacco notes. Beautiful and such a suprise to see its age! 90-91

    Clear, dense, amazingly youthful ruby-garnet color. Maderised nose, some lovage.
    Same situation on the palate. Despite its beautiful color, this bottle was clearly past peak and made no fun at all.

    Clear, deep ruby color with some tiny water rim.
    Nice, clean nose with some herbs, spices and fine tobacco notes.
    Clean and dense palate with lots of fine red fruit. Elegant and balanced, with a lively acidity, fine tannin, a bit of barn, fine tobacco and nice tension. Very joyful. 91-92

    On the palate clearly past peak, better than 1962 and more drinkable. Still lively and ripe acidity and good structure, but makes no fund to the maderised notes. 83-84

    On the palate some bitter notes, herbs, high, almost sharp acidity and lots of unpleasant brett. Clearly drinkable, but makes no fun to me. 85

    Clear, medium ruby-garnet color. Nose with some lovage that vanished with air and more red fruit emerged and the nose got more rounder.
    On the palate slightly oxidized, but also with a beautiful chalky mineral core. Ripe, high acidity. Dense, malty sweetness, medium length. 86-87

    On the palate young, fresh, elegant and with a good balance. Lacks a bit of depth and complexity, but is still very nice. Fans out with time and air. Good length with starting tertiary notes. 91-92

    Interesting and certainly not Mouton nose with citrus peel, some burnt rubber, spices, licorice and menthol.
    On the palate very ethereal, some menthol and lots of red currant. Acidity is a bit sharp and biting. Good length. Seems to me like Napa. 90

    Popped and poured, quick decant. Clear, deep golden color. Right after opening with a restrained nose and a nice, but not exciting palate. After splash decanting it opened up. Nose became more complex and on the palate it was pure balance and elegance. This wine is not loud, you need to focus, but if you do it sings a beautiful, quite song!
