Introduction
We all had to bring a wine of the theme. We did not know which wines were brought. All wines were poured fully blind, also not knowing when your own wine was poured.
2014 Château Ame de Musset 87 Points
France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Lalande de Pomerol
Red berries and some herbs in the bouquet and on the palate. Also some coffee, cedar and metal. Ok acidity and soft tannin. The wine is fully mature.

2022 Château Hauchat La Rose 87 Points
France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Canon-Fronsac
Creamy and lactic bouquet in this 100% Merlot wine. Creamy, lactic, cherries and dark berries on the palate, medium+ acidity and sticky tannin. Still much too young.

Creamy bouquet with cherry yoghurt and forest floor. On the palate juicy fruits, herbs and spices, good acidity and some length. Wait a few years.

Creamy dark berries and cherries in the bouquet and on the palate. Round and friendly with medium acidity and some marzipan on the palate. Some herbs and juicy acidity and tannin.

Creamy and rustic bouquet with some stable impressions. On the palate chocolate, soft acidity, dark berries and cherries and some cedar. This bottle seemed quite more developed than the previous ones. Two more bottle to go…

Same wine as the first one in this tasting, but from another retailer. In the bouquet this wine was a bit reticent. On the palate juicy and round, some coffee and chocolate, good acidity and mild tannin.

Dark berries, herbs and spices and vanilla in the bouquet. On the palate juicy and a good concentration, some earthy impressions, firm acidity and sticky tannin. Give this wine a few more years of cellaring.

Deep and complex bouquet with dark berries, herbs, some oak and licorice. Same on the palate, full bodied and round, good concentration and acidity, juicy and very tasty. Very nice wine.

Creamy and elegant bouquet with some vanilla. Same on the palate, full bodied and juicy, red and dark berries, good acidity and round tannin. Young maturity stage and will improve with some more ageing.
