PnP, dark plum, nice moderate red flowers, cocoa, m/m+ body, integrated well, fine grained tannins, it's elegant but lingering long with dark chocolate notes. very good on fineness and balance. nice to the price also. in drinking window for sure, but still have 3-5 years potential to develop.

France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Saint-Émilion Grand Cru
51% Merlot, 49% Cabernet Franc.
Decanted for 2.5 hours. Still vigorous and full of strength, this wine opens with dense cassis and dark fruits, layered with smoky, earthy, and oaky notes. The tannins are ripe and fine-grained, giving it a full-bodied presence. The long finish reveals subtle hints of rose, violet, and a touch of minerality.
It’s a legendary wine — solid and powerful, yet elegant and restrained. Round and comfortable on the palate, with impressive richness, balance, concentration, and complexity. While I sensed a slight tiredness (not from age, but perhaps bottle variation), it didn’t quite deliver the multi-100-point magic this wine is known for. Still, there’s no doubt it will continue to shine over the next decade.
