I'm not a fan of Pinot blanc, but this was quite stellar. Orchard fruit, wonderful minerality, even a sea-spray saline quality. This would be awesome with oysters or shellfish.
A small pour at a tasting. This was surprisingly better than a previous vintage that I had a few years back. Not exactly French, but close. Slight buttery component, flint, lime and a creamy finish.

A small pour at a tasting. This is obviously still young, the fruit is gorgeous and elegant. Even with the larger fruit, the hallmarks of a traditional Oregon pinot noir are present.
A small pour at a tasting. I was surprised that this is drinking as well as it was. Innocent Shea generally needs many years. Very earthy, strawberry, dark cherry, slight funk and mushroom.
All I can say is this was served for dessert alongside a hazelnut brownie type thing. It seems Mark Vlossak (and possibly his wife) were trying to prove some point that pinot noir goes well with chocolate. I don't think it does and I really couldn't assess the wine.

An easy drinking sparkler that has modest interest, but certainly not at the level that the price would indicate.
