The profile is tighter than La Grange tasted before, more mineral too, citrus notes, earthy, freshness, again some candied notes, a few raw nutty notes.
Palate shows freshness, high acidity but not aggressively so, mineral, tight but also elegant, persistent finish

The wine shows med intensity in the nose, a few spices here and there, crushed shells, brine
Palate is powerful, broad, juicy, mineral, tensity, bnitterness adding more freshness, youthful, med to long finish

Full on expressive, ripe fruit, candied notes, some floral notes, lime/lemon notes, green fruit notes, some tropical fruit notes.
Palate is gorgeous, mineral, tight, med to high acidity, ripe citrus notes, broad and impressive, very tasty, long persistent finish, even some still grapey notes (it feels that youthful)

The wine is heavily based in oak, coffee, chocolate, ripe to overripe black fruit, clove, sour cherry notes, tight tannins, med body, med finish, red cherry, short to med finish.
Too much oak everywhere, why ?

Valambus (owner) came and brought these wines to taste for an idea he had about the 10 year celebration of the winery
Ripe, broad, some sesame and indian spice hints, palate is very salty, brine, broad again, high acidity, mineral, tensity, long finish, very youthful, persistent finish

The vintage is different to 2022, this one is more open, nutty, fresh, again sesame notes, nutty, green fruit notes.
Palate shows brine, tart, fruit more on the lemon/grapefruit/quince side, canded lemon notes, peel notes, high acidity, dense, a bit angry still, a touch warm, long finish

The wine feels broader, similar to 2022, ripe fruit, stone fruit, again toast and sesame sweetness, nutty, lime notes.
Palate shows a bit of evolution, candied notes, full body, high acidity, nutty, brine, long finish.

The wine shows intensity, nutty notes, vanilla, sweet spices, a bit smoky, palate is broad, the acidity is there offering balance, nutty, almond, warmth, chocolate notes even, after some time the brine element comes up, full body, long finish

The grapes pressed in a vertical basket press. The juice fermented in Inox tank, barrique and amphora. The new made wine matured in Inox 70% and amphora 30% for five months
Green notes, citrus, grapefruit, extracter, some bitter notes, quince, herbal notes.
Palate is fresh, youthful, phenolic texture, herbal notes,, crunchy, warmth (despite only 12.60%), med to full body, med to long finish

The wine shows depth, red cherry and cranberry notes, earthy, ripe fruit, some herbal notes, raw nutty layer
Palate is smooth, nice texture, med to full body, some strawberry notes in the back, med finish.
Its definately different, which makes it interesting, a touch warm

2023 Jima Winery Cabernet Franc Day 28

A portion of whole bunch was used. The fermentation took place in open top inox tanks and only pigeage was applied. The wine matured in barriques for twelve months . 13,7%
More gamey than Cab Franc's peppery profile, the red fruit sits way in the back, some black berry notes too
Palate shows a "low intervention" Loire profile, red fruit, med to high acidity, medium tannins but tight and angular, spicy med finish
Not an easy wine to drink now, would be fun to see this in a couple of years
