  • 2022 Maison Perron de Mypont Chardonnay Bourgogne

    France, Burgundy, Bourgogne

    This is new project of Dr Loosen in Bourgogne. 5-15% new oak, 10% Chablis + Rully, 6tn oak and inox tanks
    Fresh, forward, citrus notes, lime, broad, thin oak layer, a few green notes, "2022 Bourgogne ripeness".
    Palate is fresh, forward, more linear here, green fruit, the fruit is more upfront, oak hints in the back, med finish.

  • 2022 Maison Perron de Mypont Pinot Noir Bourgogne

    France, Burgundy, Bourgogne

    This is new project of Dr Loosen in Bourgogne, 6tn oak, 9-10 months in oak, 10-14 hours skin contat, 15% new oak, various plot vinified on their own, 6 weeks in bottle
    Much thinner (than the white), low intensity, red cherry notes, thin spicy layer, some clove and hazelnut.
    Palate feels a bit harsher, red fruit, few tannins but angular, cuts short, some bitterness

  • 2019 Philippe Pacalet Condrieu

    France, Rhône, Northern Rhône, Condrieu

    brought to drink at Oinoscent with the team
    Highly extrovert, fragrant, sweet oak notes, vanilla notes, tropical fruit notes, banana and pineapple (!), very welcoming with some heavier floral notes.
    Palate follows the profile but with a rather more pronounced oak element, mineral, ripeness, white stone fruit, peach, bitter aftertaste, long finish.

  • 2022 Maison Skyaasen Bourgogne Côte d'Or Blanc

    France, Burgundy, Bourgogne Côte d'Or

    brought to drink at Oinoscent with the team
    Ripe citrus notes, a bit reserved for now (decanted for a while), subtle vanilla notes, elegant oak frame, grapefruit peel notes, freshness.
    Palate is very youthful, lime, acidity, med body, very fresh pineapple notes, lemon concentrated, long grapefruit-fuelled finish
    Way too youthful for now

  • 2021 I Vigneri di Salvo Foti Etna Rosso

    Italy, Sicily, Etna DOC

    Floral notes, red cherry notes, fresh, a few earthy notes, peppery and clove spicy notes, palate with juicy youthful tannins, med body, linear, currant notes, sweet spices, a bit warm, mineral, med finish, again clove.
    Would be better with food

  • 2008 Domaine Vacheron Sancerre

    The wine shows bright golden colour.
    In the nose, the wine shows creamy notes, mushroom notes, green notes in the back, opens up slowly.
    Palate shows high acidity, mineral, citrus, green apple, tense, showing nerve, full body, overripe pear, med finish
    Brilliant

  • 2014 Gramercy Cellars Syrah The Deuce Walla Walla Valley

    USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Walla Walla Valley

    Very warm, ripe to overripe black fruit, cherry, blue berry, heavy floral notes, loads of spices, some red fruit marmelade notes too.
    Palate is very warm, the fruit is ripe to overripe, the tannins are mellow, med acidity, med to full body, med finish
