  • 2024 Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen Oude Geuze Vintage 93 Points

    Belgium, Flanders, Beersel

Bottled 26 September 2024, Assemblage N°68, season 23/24, made with 1-4 year old lambics from three different brewers, six different brews from four different barrels, weighted average lambic age more than 28 months, 6.9% ABV. Superior depth and complexity of flavour, fruit and wood, firm but balanced acidity, elegant and rounded, very good persistence. Stylish.

  • 2023 Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen Oude Kriek 93 Points

    Belgium, Flanders, Beersel

Bottled 26 July 2023, Assemblage N°92, season 22/23, made with 3-5 year old lambics, weighted average lambic age more than 41 months, 6.8% ABV. Half bottle. The high lambic age really shows, wonderful depth and richness, very tart acidity and grippy bitters, subtle cherry aromas (‘only’ 289 gr/l) don’t overpower the geuze, excellent persistence. A powerhouse, nothing wishy-washy here.

  • 2018 Les Cailloux du Paradis Racines 94 Points

    France, Vin de Table Français

Organic and biodynamic viticulture, mainly Cabernet Franc, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Côt and Gamay, blended with a multitude of other varieties, long maceration, aged for 18 months in older wood. Silky-smooth, so pure and gentle and flowing, lovely complexity of sweet fruit and leafy aromas, spicy depth, warmth from the élevage, freshness and energy, perfect weight (12.85% ABV) and volume, minerally energy, gentle bitters on the long and playful finish.
