  40% Chardonnay 35% Pinot Noir 25% Pinot Meunier, 36 months on lees, 11.50%
  Fresh, youthful, citrus, pear, green fruit, some floral notes, airy, some pineapple notes.
  Palae shows biscuit notes, citrus, grapefruit, again fresh, accessible (yes pricey but alright), med body, med finish

  South Africa, Western Cape

  Fresh, floral notes, green fruit, green apple, palate with nice mouthfeel, some herbal notes, a touch bitter, short to med finish, easy going

  Ripe citrus fruit, med intensity, green fruit, nice compact, palate fresh, nutty frame, almond, youthful, green fruit, med to high acidity, nice with nerve, nice backbone, long finish

  90% granite soil 10% schist, 12.50%
  Fresh, youthful, green fruit, ripe pear, salty, nice and ethereal.
  Palate is airy, med acidity, light bodied, mineral, again salty, fresh, some bitterness, med finish

  Far more shy than Alvarinho in the nose, green fruit, pear, compact,
  palate is fine, nice bitter notes, pear, green apple, med body, lemon, lemon leaf notes, nice texture, high acidity, textured, med finish

• 2022 Wildeberg Coterie Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc

  South Africa, Coastal Region

  Semillon from Franschoeck and Sauvignon Blanc from Stellenbosch
  Very fragrant, ripe stone fruit, the oak is there supporting everything, a few herbal notes.
  Palate textured, med to high acidity, mineral, a few almond notes, there is a certain roundness, tangerine notes, med finish.

  30yo vines, 13.50%
  Nice juicy fruit, fresh, cranberry notes, ripe strawberry notes, elegant, a few red notes
  Palate is fruit forward, nice tannins, soft and elegant, nice acidity, med finish. Quite tasting overall

  Very fruit forward, juicy, fragrant, red berry notes, palate is light, easy and smooth, nice tannins, freshness and youthful, juicy tannins, mineral, med finish

  9 months in neutral oak, 13.35%
  Ripe black fruit, floral notes, violets, a thin layer of nuts, forward, very pleasant.
  Palate is very fresh, juicy, nice tannins, med to high acidity, there is a bit of reduction (but the wine was served via coravin, some air would help), fleshy, juiyc, ripe, long finish

• 2023 Aveleda Vinho Verde Fonte Rose

  Portugal, Minho, Vinho Verde

  Very light pink colour.
  In the nose, the wine shows low intensity, floral notes, ripe nectarine, some watermelon notes, strawberry notes.
  Palate shows med body, tense, mineral, white peach, nectarine, med acidity, light and easy, med finish, 11.50%
  Maybe lacking intensity due to bottle being open for long but you can still understand the wine

  Quite reductive (again via coravin), needs time, grassy, some green fruit, some bitter hues here too.
  Palate light, smooth, mineral driven, grassy, green fruit, med body, short to med finish
