Lovely nose of rich Pinot Noir, fresh fruit, sweet and sour fruit, same on the palate, tasty, medium/big body, mouth filling fruit, has the right amount of sweet, rich fruit, and a medium finish, Winery price $28.

2021 Martinelli Chardonnay Charles Ranch 92 Points
USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast
Nose of citrus, same on the palate, nice fruit, rich fruit, subtle, needs a year to peak, medium/big body, tasted 5 times today, will age another 5 years, fairly fruit forward, and a lovely, long finish helps my overall taste. Winery price $62.

Nose of citrus, slightly bigger and richer on the palate than the Charles Ranch today, medium body, and a medium finish. Winery price $62.

2021 Martinelli Pinot Noir Wild Thyme Vineyard Fort Ross - Seaview 98 Points

Nose of black cherry, red cherry, sweet and sour fruit, fragrant spring flowers, and allspice, same on the palate, WOTD, big body, subtle, flavorful, complex, mouth filling fruit, rich fruit, and a long, long, long lovely finish, and flavorful aftertaste, enjoyed 6 tastes today. Winery price $140.

This was a barrel sample tasted today. Nose of sweet and sour fruit, same on the palate, medium body, delicate, needs time but promising a lot in the tasting today, medium/long finish.

2017 Martinelli Pinot Noir Zio Tony Ranch 89 Points

Nose off sweet and sour fruit, tasted after the Wild Thyme so it paled in comparison, medium/big body, tasty, rich fruit, good acid, medium/long finish, scored poorly when compared to other Pinot Noirs today. Winery price $95.

2022 Martinelli Syrah Vellutini Ranch 93 Points

Lovely nose of black berry fruit, bright fruit, rich fruit, same on the palate, big body, fairly fruit forward, very tasty, enjoy now and over the next 10 years, tasted 3 times today, and then they ran out which attests to its popularity today. Winery price $72 and worth it.

2024 Martinelli Zinfandel Louisa Vineyard 98 Points

This is a barrel sample tasted today. Picture uploaded of information leaning against the barrel which reads "Block: 1&2 North, Clone: Jackass Hill", Nose of lovely Zinfandel, big Zinfandel, and rich Zinfandel, same on the palate, the boldest and best tasted Zinfandel today, big body, medium finish, needs 5 years to peak and easily last 18 years.
