  • 2019 Louis Jadot Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Clos St. Jacques Domaine Louis Jadot 96 Points

France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru

m/m- ruby, a little cloudy. perfumed red flower and berries in nose, red and dark fruits dominating palate, fine acidity and fine tannins, still a little firm. the power released elegantly in a balanced structure.

It's a perfect Burgundy, precised, powerful, perfumed, all mellowed in an elegant way! I don't regret open this only one bottle a bit early, as I'm sure I will find more to cellar in at least next 10 years.

  • 2019 Domaine des Sénéchaux Châteauneuf-du-Pape 93 Points

    France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape

Ripe dark fruits lead the nose, layered with floral hints of rose and violet, sweet spices, oak, and dark chocolate. All elements are well integrated, subtle rather than sharply defined, but carry undeniable strength beneath the surface.

A beautiful expression of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, this wine hides its power within an elegant and composed presence.
