    Bought this at a hole-in-the-wall shop for a cheap price. Surprisingly dark color. A bit of a harsh and medicinal flavor that overwhelmed any traces of fruit that might have been hiding in this wine. Storage conditions are immediately suspect. After 10 hours of decanting, this did not improve. Not much pleasure here.

    Nice, rancio character. Dried oranges and figs. A bit soft on the acids but enjoyable. I suspect this was probably bottled in the 80's. Nice drink, but seems to lack freshness I would expect.

    Classic flavors of caramel, molasses, figs and brown spices -- but this did not have nearly the impact of previous bottles I have had in the past. Not enough intensity and drive.
