Notes consistent with my previous one from 3/5/07
A most excellent bottle. Hints of cherries and lavender on the nose with a silky smooth moutfeel and berries and saffron on the palate and a great lingering finish

The second Cab ( 2 of 3) of the night and ended up second for me taste wise amongst the three. Hints of earth, pencil shavings , and dust on the nose, with rose hips, dark fruit and berries on the palate. Nice finish. Its drinking well now, but has enough stuffing to age some more.

This wine was pretty good but among the cabs it fell to last place. It clearly needed more bottle time however, its structure showed its going to be really fantastic in 5+ years. Hints of dust and berries on the palate with a jammy big fruit palate. Fair finish.

I have a magnum of this vintage and it will be interesting to see how that one is in 4-5 years. This one clearly can age some more but it is drinking great right now. I do agree it was a touch on the hot side, but the nose showed violets and spice, with a palate of white pepper, box squash, and ripe fruit. Nice finish as well.

This was the Fifth wine of the evening and paired with the main course. Hints of tobacco and cigar smoke on the nose with dark cherries, anise, and pineapple sage on the palate. Finish went on and on with excellent mouthfeel.

Consisten notes with my previous tasting on 6/6/2008. No score was given as it was the last of the 6 bottles consumed and we were feeling it.
Hints of leather and earth on the noe with more leather, and white pepper on the palate. Nice finish and good mouthfeel. For me the wine seems to have peaked.
