It’s easy to disparage the scale and the branding, but this really is a solid Provençal rosé, well put-together, big flavours in the right places but not out of balance and not too sweet.
My guests _hated_ this after the 2022 Roche de Bellene Santenay 1er Cru La Comme - in comparison it was just too thin, too acidic, too astringent. On the second day (when they had left) it showed again its ethereal translucency, blood orange and pomegranate, fine tannins. Context is everything!
NV Jean Moutardier Champagne Carte d'Or Brut
France, Champagne
Lovely, creamy-textured, disappeared in the blink of an eye
