Clean, bright, lemon nose. Whipped cream with a slight but pleasant mineral bitterness, gives to a frosted flake-like finish. Great.

Ruby-garnet; darker than I'd expect. Minty on the nose and slightly on the palate, simple cherry there out. There's better from Leroy.

Lighter in color than Leroy's 2000 Bourgogne Rouge. Flowers and vanilla on the nose with caramel and silky cherry notes. Leans towards a tart, unbalanced acidity but finishes great.

Very dark burgundy in color, shifting to brown as may be expected. Earthy on nose and palate with lot's of black licorice/anise, spearmint, cocoa and coffee. Great.
