Five of us made the journey to the "far Eastside" of Seattle to have dinners on Friday and Saturday hosted by Candace and Steve.
As we arrived, nibbled some cheese and chatted.
With a lovely chilled cucumber soup.
Delectable mushroom and puff pastry tart. We started with the Burg and then used the young Angelus as a bridge to the old Bordeaux to follow.
Roasted tenderloin, stunning pavé potato and roasted veg.
More variable quality on these old Bordeaux but the highs were quite high!
And some peach upside down cake.
After a hot day at Valley Fair we descended on Steve's. We enjoyed these on the patio as Steve got ready.
With a freaking middle eastern feast, we started with a pair of Musar
Also especially nice with the delicious dinner
We needed a palate refresh, and straight out of the cooler this was fantastic.
And finally a monster pair of Bonneau.
Wonderful weekend!

Just delicious, goes down so easily. A bit of funky complexity at the finish.

Very young, tightly wound, mineral. Very pretty but very tight at this point.
