    Broader than Varietal collection, again herbal, green, a bit floral too but no fruit here
    Palate shows med body, follows the nose pattern, med to high acidity, angular, compact, very youthful still, citrus and grapefruit, quince note,s long finish

  • 2024 Semeli Malagousia Cuvée Spéciale

    The nose shows med to high intensity, density, again stronger herbal profile, the fruit lies in the green side
    Palate shows a better character, vibrant, lively, high acidity, more fruit here but very youthful, crunchy, med to long finish

  • 2024 Boutari Malagousia Finetsati

    Greece, Macedonia

    The wine shows (at least) a different expression, broader, riper, more fruit forward, some minty notes, freshness.
    Palate follows the same pattern, med body, lime, ripe pear, green apples, quite bitter aftertaste though, med to long finish

  • 2024 Boutari Moschofilero Cuvée Mantineia Vieilles Vignes

    Greece, Peloponnisos, Mantinia

    Very low intensity, does not smell of anything (!), maybe some herbal hints in the back.
    Palate is very lime-y, some white stone fruit in the middle, quite bitter, grapefruit notes, high acidity, wildly unbalanced, long pleasant

    Very weird varietal expression, chemical/soap like notes, no floral notes, just green

  • 2024 Nemea Winery Signature Collection Sur Lie

    The wine shows more varietal character than the actual "varietal collection" cuvee, some floral notes, lime peel especially as it warms up
    Palate shows rose water, lime, grapefruit, underripe pineapple, high acidity, med body, technically right wine but lacks interest, med to long finish

    The wine shows med intensity in the nose, citrus notes, tangerine notes, lime peel notes.
    Palate infused with lime, some co2 still around, bitterness, very angular, high intensity, very compact, harsh texture, med to long finish

    In the nose, the wine shows med intensity, lime, green notes, youthful, fresh but also a bit of an underlying sweet stone fruit notes.
    Palate far smoother than expected but still angular, citrus notes, pear, green apple notes, again bitter, high acidity, lacks balance, long finish
