    In the nose the wine shows med to high intensity, citrus notes, yeast, hay, quince, underlying stone fruit sweetness, some rubber notes, some tea notes
    Palate shows med body, mineral, citrus notes, straightforward, high acidity, some RS, lime, ripe quince, pear, green apple, grapefruit pith, short to med finish. The carbonation feels strange, bitterness at the end, 11.50% alc

  • 2023 Telmo Rodríguez Godello Valdeorras Gaba do Xil O Barreiro

    Palate is very different in style, a lot of bitterness, med to full body, warm (13.50%), angry texture, bergamot pith, low acidity, long finish

    Palate follows the pattern, oak based (new style), loads of flint notes, med to full body, med to high acidity, lemon notes, green apple notes, warmth (13.50% alc), green overall, youthful, long persistent finish.
    Linear and vertical in style, with time you get an almost sweeter fruit note

    The wine shows med intensity not giving away much, earthy, some citrus and quince notes, hay notes, not very clear or clean, flinty, lemon
    Palate shows some reductive notes, flinty, bitter, some co2 on the tip, a bit warm (14.0% alc), med to high intensity, very lean, linear, angry texture, spicy, peppery note, med to long finish
    Bergamot, grapefruit pith, a bit salty

    Palate shows red fruit, med to full body, dry red fruit, cherry and currant, cranberry, again fresh and youthful, some stalky notes, thin oak frame, med to high acidity, tannins are there but not angular, med finish with herbal bitterness
