    The wine shows highly extrovert and aggressive character, very smoky and rubbery. There is a hard (aged) cheesy note here that makes for an overall unpleasant profile, burnt rubber notes
    Palate again highly aggressive, follows the same flavour profile as the nose, high acidity, mineral, med to full body, lime, grapefruit, long finish. 13.50% alc

    The wine shows far more fruit that 2022 Venetsanos tasted before, citrus notes, grapefruit notes, some salty notes, broad, layered, pleasant, some pear notes
    Palate shows texture, mineral, high acidity, full body, very youthful, citrus, quince, textured, layered, compact, very long persistent finish. 13.50% alc

  • 2022 Jean-Paul & Benoit Droin Chablis

    The wine shows freshness, youthful, layered, fruit forward, citrus, apricot notes, some smoky mineral notes emerge from the back, slow release in style. Quite round and pleasant for a Chablis (even for Droin standards), welcoming
    Palate shows the same pattern, very fruit forward, stone fruit, high acidity, full body, the wine shows tensity, structure, shows many layers that alternate, med finish. 12.50% Nice

    Palate shows more power than Talisman 2021, juicy, tensity, nice acidity, bold tannins, full body, elegant and complex, structured, tannins are showing nicely, some floral notes, mineral, long persistent finish

  • 2013 Raul Pérez Rara Avis Prieto Picudo

    The wine shows nice ripe black fruit, blue berry notes, there is a bit of evolution but the character is still there. The wine shows some floral notes, some smoky and some iodine notes.
    Palate is still going strong, showing evolution with overripe red and black fruit, nice tannins, med to high acidity, a bit salty, med body, med finish

    In the nose, the wine shows freshness, powerful character, tobacco notes, some smoky notes, there is a gamey/leathery character. The pyrazine pepper notes are there but stay in the back
    Palate is quite upfront, a bit aggressive, high acidity, bold tannins, med body, long finish, high intensity, there is a certain electrifying tensity here
