This was at room temperature and while it could’ve been a touch cooler, this was expressive and refined with tones of lemon peels, apples, quince, apple blossoms, pears, stone fruits, vanilla beans, nougat, and some yellow flowers. This is beautifully balanced and seamless with a sense of being that comes from a level of maturity. The Medium/full bodied feel is rounded, deep, and expressive with mouthwatering, medium+ acidity. I wonder what a slightly lower temperature would bring for this, but this was really gorgeous as is. This is in a really beautiful zone right now and has the ability to stay at this level or better for a good while.

This could likely use a couple of years to round it some rough edges before it really expresses itself.

This is showing off a spring-like nature that is enticing and pretty. The Medium bodied feel shows off the balance and pretty qualities of the nose along with fresh, medium+ acidity that still has some liveliness. This is drinking beautifully now, but it feels like it may well have another gear to kick into. It is showing off a lot of primary qualities to the fruit, but it is all well balanced and in harmony.

There is good depth with an expressive quality to boot. The Medium bodied feel shows off the expressive qualities of the nose along with the sour red fruits. The Medium+ acidity is crisp and mouthwatering while the Medium tannins are silky and integrating well. This is in a great place right now as it shows excellent freshness and expressive qualities across the nose and palate, but there is still another gear that this can kick into with another 5+ years.

The structure is only really there to provide a framework as this is perfectly mature right now and gorgeous.

The Medium+ acidity is tart and mouthwatering while the Medium tannins have integrated well while still showing a Touch of youth. This is just flat out wonderful. It’s right in its zone as there is still freshness, but all working together in harmony.

This was hard to get a read on. I’d like to try this in a different setting where it may have a chance to open up more. But it could also be that this is what it is, which is still a classic Chablis that delivers at its price point.
