Vineyards located in 2000 metres above sea level in Yunan, with average temperature med teens, with cold mountain air blowing through. Long growing seasons of over 100 days compared to 80 days in France resulting in fine tannins and lively acidity.
2022 Celebre Winery Chardonnay 92 Points
China, Yunnan
Prominent aromas of lemon, hint of vanilla, broad on the palate with precise lively acidity with long finish. Well made, good depth and refreshing with good freshness.

Good focus aroma of red fruits, plum, cassis, well made on the palate, nothing sticking often but lacks the depth probably due to the age of vines or winemaking. Acid is precise and lively with fine silky tannins. Good wine

2019 Celebre Winery Allofme 88 Points
China, Yunnan
Made with 80% Cab San and 20% Rose honey, a variety no longer growing for France. Almost amber in colour, orangish on the edge, dried fruits, kirsch kind of aromas, sherry like, similar on the palate, easy drinking with fine tannins.
