Enjoyed this. Big and rich in the house style (vanilla, brioche), deep and pretty warm in tone. Would struggle to drink it every day though.

Lighter on its feet than the Gratien 2017 BdB which preceded it, and all seemed to enjoy (because of?) the contrast. "Hazelnuts." Excellent.
A strong choice for the party. Interesting enough for those who cared. Pretty deep gold colour, quite rich but lively effervescence keeps it fresh. Good.
Very consistent. Classic profile, a touch of sweetness this time, clean finish.
End of the evening. Showing quite rich rather than fresh in this context.
