  • 2017 Antoine Petitprez Côte de Nuits Villages Les Vaucrains 92 Points

France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Côte de Nuits Villages

This climat in Comblanchien borders on Prémeaux, and its north-eastern tip is only separated from the Clos de la Maréchale by the diminutive climat Les Fourches. Produced by 47 year old vines on Marne du Comblanchien, organic viticulture, vinified ‘sans intrant’, macerated for 21 days on the whole bunches, aged for 15 months in oak, bottled 20 April 2009, 1650 bottles produced, 13% ABV. Mature but lively appearance; lovely evolution on the nose, nutty autumn forest aromas with ripe cherries and spices behind; silky and supple palate, freshness from the whole clusters, resolved tannins; very good resonance and length. Completely ready.
