The older bottles in the vertical didn't show well, but this came through like a superstar. Very rich, while also very bright energy throughout. Great weight for 1er Cru. Drinking very well now.

Elegant wine that is highly styled and less of a powerhouse than typical Bâtard. Weight seems to increase from start to finish, with impressive volume and depth at the end. I may be underestimating how good this wine actually is, but there is no more to re-taste in my glass.

Given what I heard about last night's magnum, I made sure this magnum got nearly a 3-hour decant, which surely helped. Red cherry and berry throughout still seemed compact and introverted, but also lithe and elegant with ethereal textures that were charming. Upside from here.

Decanted 2+ hours given my (good) experience with a bottle one year ago, tonight's bottle was truly rockstar. Powerful array of red fruits with bright textures that truly popped, this was both elegant and powerful. Another great top 2010.

Not a mistake, we enjoyed this wine, too. Rich is an opulent New World style that is really fun, this was still nicely fresh enough and with good length. Tough to fairly assess in context of tonight's lineup.
