    Clear, deep golden color. Quite intense, smoky, deep nose with fine brioche notes. On the palate very round and balanced. Ripe, medium+ acidity that gives it a juicy kick. Still with a beautiful mousseux. Some fine caramel notes. Overall quite deep and dense with a good, fine and elegant finish. Beautiful Krug. 93-94

    From a perfectly stored bottle. Clear, quite youthful medium golden color. Youthful and fresh, almost Riesling style nose with peach, honey, fine vanilla. Complex and nice.
    On the palate it needs a certain temperature to fully unfold. Bone dry, only 12,5% abv. Medium acidity. Very fresh with some salty mineral notes, peach, honey, fine bitter notes, orange zests and some bees wax. Nice texture and grip, beautiful length. Full peak. 93-94

    Tasted fully blind. Clear, pale golden color. Beautiful fine and elegant nose with yellow stone fruit, hints of reduction and flint, very complex.
    On the palate amazingly elegant and graceful. Fine reductive notes, fines oak, hints of vanilla mixed with clear fruit. Very mineral. By all elegance it also has amazing tension and energy. Very long and fine finish. Great experience. 96-97. My WOTN

    Clear, pale golden color. Fine, sweet nose, a little bid reminding me of Cidre with all the apple driven flavors.
    On the palate lots of ripe and green apples, salty notes, creamy, fresh, a bit bold and powerful and with noticeable residual sugar. Uncomplicated, juicy and with a good length. Not as exited about it as my last bottle though. 91

    Tasted fully blind. Clear, pale golden color. Very interesting and reductive nose. Some red fruit, flint, fresh herbs and candied fruit.
    On the palate a bit freaky, clearly natural style, but in a perfect way. Wonderful grip, tension and energy. Bone dry, 13% abv perfectly integrated. Fine herbs, more structure than fruit. Long, complex finish. Intellectual wine, but very good and a great experience. 92-93

    Tasted fully blind. Clear, medium ruby color with some orange rim. Based on the color I thought about 70ies or 80ies in terms of age...
    Herbaceous nose, some barn, some mushrooms and fine tobacco.
    On the palate it was clearly past prime, but not fallen apart. Medium+ acidity was still beautifully integrated. Medium ripe tanning, some green pepper, quite elegant, medium length. Still drinks absolutely nicely. Great experience to taste such a wine. 87-88

    On the palate elegant, 13,5% abv, racy acidity, some barn notes, good tannin structure, long. Seemed still not at full peak. Not very exciting. 92-93

    Tasted fully blind next to the Magnien Clos de Beze. Clear, medium ruby-orange color. Expressive, fully developed nose. Smoky, deep, dense, with lots of red fruit, spices and speck.
    On the palate quite powerful, but also elegant. Warm red fruit, fine vanilla, fine tannin, spicy, juicy and very joyful with a long, fruity finish. Full peak. 93-94

    On the palate with massive, but ripe tannin. Very deep and dense, nice grip. Clean red fruit and some floral notes. Beautiful tension and energy and a long finish. This wine has a bright future ahead. 93+

    Clear, deep golden color with an amber hue. Classic Grünhaus nose with elder, cassis and floral notes. Rather deep.
    On the palate the sweetness has almost fully blended in. Tasted like a Spätlese, but with the depth and concentration of an Auslese. It was a bit too advanced to be truly great, but still very joyful to drink with all the usual Grünhaus attributes. 92 . Drink.
