Not my cup of tea.

Just okay, very basic, but pleasing enough.

Seemed like 100% merlot. Nice expression of the grape.

A really lovely, and quite limited Bordeaux. 3 acres located right above Angelus in prime real estate. Only about 400 bottles make it to the states every year. Very nice.

This was a surprise to me, but excellent. Neighbors with Petrus and Lafleur, Hosanna is a beautiful classic Pomerol made by Christian Mouiex. Top notch stuff. Many years ahead of it.

WOW. Neighbors with Petrus and Lafleur, Hosanna is a beautiful classic Pomerol made by Christian Mouiex. But this 2022 vintage (hot days, cool nights) is a BANGER. Lucious red, black and blue fruits with silky smooth tannins. A sensual wine for sure. Black cherry, plum, truffle, mocha. Hints of cocoa and tobacco which will develop with age I'm sure. Signature blue clay. 11 acres. This is extremely approachable now but I really am excited to see how it ages.

Major barnyard and horse dung on the nose. Nice classic Bordeaux with lots of tertiary notes

Bright fruits still. Red fruits shine through. Just a baby--give it time!

Very approachable wine but bright red fruits

A separate plot from Ducru grand vin. I got a more gravelly and dirt vibe even though I think it has distinctly less gravel than the grand vin. Solid showing but doesn't stack up to the grand vin at all.

Wonderful classic Bordeaux qualities. A great Ducru showing.

Solid showing from Cos d'Estournel's neighbor. They sit side by side on the same gravel hill ("Cos" = “hill of pebbles” in old Gascon) and share the same ownership, but are completely different projects. This doesn't stack up to Cos but was an impressive wine for the price point.

Beautiful showing for Cos. A great vintage. Will be stunning with some more age.

WOTN was the 2022 Chateau Hosanna which looks to be a stunner which will last for decades.

Jammy crowd pleaser of a wine. Felt way more new world than Bordeaux.

Underwhelming for me. Very basic, without any super distinct characteristics shining through.

In a nice spot. Drinking in its prime window but that will last many years to come.
