The wine feels ready to drink and made to drink fresh with no further ageing potential -/- Upon seeing the bottle, its very different of the one I had a few days ago, was it due to bottling date ?

In the palate, the wine shows richness, follows the same profile, very much on the dried fruit side, warmth from alcohol (17.50%), loads of coffee/toffee notes, ruch texture, dates, caramel notes, rather cloying, walnut, med finish The wine feels at peak, I don’t see this developing any further but could probably stay like this for a long time

In the nose, the wine shows high intensity, a black fruit note, cherry/berry, nutmeg, some raisin notes, sweet spices, olive notes, dark chocolate, coffee notes (way in the back), eucalyptus/minty hints too Palate shows freshness, black berry/cherry notes, prunes and plums, med body, nice acidity, a touch warm but balanced, despite its bitterness, short to med finish There is a baked tomato note here after a while! The wine feels that it could go age for longer but I don’t know what it would gain

There is a savoury note here too, almost meaty, roasted almond. Palate follows the nose but with an extreme coffee infused/toffee note, med body, warmth, med finish. You feel the “weight” of the wine to fall in the back and sort of “emptying” the mid-palate while ending with a dry-ish finish

In the nose, the wine shows high intensity, VA notes, almond notes, tangerine, orange peel notes, some sweet spice notes, thin oak frame, rather layered, dried floral notes. There is a savoury note here too, almost meaty, roasted almond.
Palate follows the nose but with an extreme coffee infused/toffee note, med body, warmth, med finish. You feel the “weight” of the wine to fall in the back and sort of “emptying” the mid-palate while ending with a dry-ish finish
