a min avg score of 94 was set as the meeting's wines level - a challenging one!
We enjoyed great wines! Started with blind tasting of each bootle.
All bottles were OK, though two were below expectations for that specific wine.
The escorting dishes were numerous and very tasty!!!
lot of these.
It was one of the excellent and memorable evenings!!!
2010 Château Hosanna 93 Points
France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Pomerol
Deep garnet with purple hues. Intense, layered aromas of ripe black cherry, plum, cassis and blackberry, lifted by violets, graphite, truffle, cocoa and subtle sweet spice. On the palate, full-bodied and richly textured, with velvety yet powerful tannins, excellent freshness and remarkable concentration. Flavours of dark fruit, mocha and mineral notes unfold seamlessly. Long, refined finish with great balance and ageing potential. Generally, this bottle was less than expected.
