Introduction
Seated tasting with Ramey resident sommelier Sean Brosnihan. Tasting lasted about 2 hours. Enjoyed all the wines and bought a mixed case. My favorite was the Rodgers Creek Syrah, the Pedregal Cabernet and all of the white wines!

Tasted non-blind 1 at a time - white to red.
Closing
This was one of the best tastings I have ever attended. Sean was extremely knowledgeable about the wines (from vineyard soil composition to winemaking) we tasted and a gracious host. Highly recommend visiting Ramey if you like Burgundian style Chardonnay and Syrah / Cabernet made in a European style (with US Fruit). Winery is not far from downtown Healdsburg.

2022 Ramey Chardonnay Charles Ranch 93 Points

Clear yellow color. ON nose, apple, lemon, citrus. Medium body/acidity with elegant palate feel. 93+/-

2022 Ramey Chardonnay Rochioli Vineyard 92 Points

Ramey seated tasting.
This was thrown in last minute by Sean as we had just visited Rochioli Vineyards (we preferred this to the Rochioli Chard). Didn't note color. On nose, lemon, mineral, pineapple. Full body, medium+ acidity, no tannins and very long finish. 92-93 range.

2022 Ramey Chardonnay Hyde Vineyard 92 Points

Ramey seated tasting.
Darker color than prior two Chardonnays. Lemon, lemon zest, citrus, minerality. Full body, medium acidity and long finish. Beautiful wine. 92-93 range.

2018 Ramey Syrah Cole Creek Vineyard 91 Points

Seated Ramey Tasting.
Didn't note color. Blue fruit, saline, olive, smoke - medium body/acidity with integrated tannins and a long finish. Preferred the '19 Rodgers Creek to this. 91-92 range.

2019 Ramey Syrah Rodgers Creek Vineyard 94 Points

Ramey seated tasting.
Notes getting poor at this stage. Didn't note color. Great nose - floral, savory, black olives, saline and black cherry. Palate was consistent with note. Bought 6 bottles so that should say a lot. 94+/-
Believe 12% Viognier in the blend.

Dark red color. On nose, black cherry, plum and violets. Medium body/acidity, integrated tannins and very smooth palate feel. 92-93 range.

2018 Ramey Cabernet Sauvignon Annum 93 Points

Didn't note color. On nose, dark cherry, blackberry, floral. On palate, full body, medium+ acidity, medium tannins and very long finish. Really enjoyed this. 93+

2014 Ramey Cabernet Sauvignon Pedregal Vineyard 94 Points

Last wine in seated Ramey Tasting
Black/red color. On nose, green tobacco, mint, graphite / pencil lead and blackberry notes. Red/black fruits primarily on palate. Didn't take good notes about structure other than very long finish and nice acidity. 94+/-
