Tasted blind. Lovely nose of pear and citrus but faded quickly. The palate is flat. With time it tightened somewhat and developed orange and mandarin notes. The bottle wasn't completely sound but turned out ok.

Tasted blind. Dark yellow, caramel on the nose. Lovely fresh palate though with length and drive. Nose has oxi but the palate is long. 92+

Tasted blind. Oyster shell nose. Pear, citrus palate. Lovely acid and long drive. Was very surprised to see the wine which it was uncloaked. Probably represent the lighter Louis Michel style and typical higher acid.

Tasted blind. A clunky wine where the components were all sticking out. Menthol. Started coming together with time. Red fruits. 93

Tasted blind. Nice sweet clean fruit. Some menthol? Quite tannic and chewy but beautiful fruit also. The heavy'ish oak detracted a point for me. 93

Tasted blind. Nice, balanced. A little uninteresting initially but then the sous bois came out which improved things a lot. Some sweetness. 94

Tasted blind. Seductive, soft, aged, sous bois, red fruits. Beautiful wine. I usually find this producer overworked and overblown but this was fantastic. 96.

Taste blind. Oak tannins stand out. Nice fruit, red fruits, but just cloaked by the heavy-handed oak treatment - such a shame. 90
