A great lunch with mostly Australian wines and one from New Zealand. A couple of bottles were opened at short notice as one guest was delayed by trains. All, however, showed well and accompanied the food to good effect.
NV Pierre Paillard Champagne Grand Cru Extra Brut Les Parcelles 91 Points

Initial froth settles down to a nice bead of bubbles. Bready nose with red fruits intermixed with citrus. Good acidity, ready, nice brioch flavour with fresh lemony fruit.
