    In the nose, the wine shows evolution, ripe stone fruit, nectarine, tin peach, fermented pineapple notes the wine shows a thin walnut layer, some wax notes too, some heavier floral notes, some VA notes. The wine shows white chocolate hints as well
    In the palate, the wine shows the same profile. The fruit is on the overripe side, stone fruit, med to high acidity, med to full body, nectarine notes, med finish
    The wine shows a certain weight and layered profile, geeky wine. 13.0% alc

    The wine shows high intensity in the nose, very tropical in style, mango, pineapple, passion fruit, pyrazine fulled engine, inviting, crowd pleaser.
    Palate shows vibrant profile with high acidity. The wine follows the same style, tropical fruit, the wine shows highly extrovert character. The wine shows a bit grippy texture – due only to its youthful nature. The wine shows med to long finish. 13.50% alc

    The wine shows med yellow colour.
    In the nose, the wine shows high intensity, the wine shows dense fruit core. The wine is focused more on the green fruit/grassy spectrum. There is something piercing right in the middle, a heavier herbal/botanical note
    In the palate, the wine shows green profile, med to full body, high acidity, lemon, lemon peel, feels somehow broader in style, a bit dusty, med finish

  • 2022 Greywacke Wild Sauvignon

    In the nose, the wine shows high intensity, fragrant, a few floral notes, a lot of botanical notes (chamomile and jasmine). The wine shows some reduction as well, green fruit and peel notes, lime, flinty-nutty oak notes.
    In the palate, the wine shows med to full body, high acidity, lemon peel, lime, quince, pear, green apple notes. The wine shows grippy texture, still a bit angry, med to long finish. The botanical element is still there but more in the background

    In the nose, the wine shows med intensity, low in fruit concentration, some dried yellow fruit, a bit numb in a way.
    In the palate, the wine shows med body, med to high acidity, low in fruit again. There is a nutty frame here. The wine is dry, citrus notes, some pear notes. The wine shows med alcohol; the wine shows short finish with some faint green apple notes. There is a raw vegetable element here, like fennel. 13.0% alc

  • 2017 Kumeu River Chardonnay Coddington

    New Zealand, North Island, Auckland, Kumeu

    The wine shows deep yellow colour.
    In the nose, the wine shows huge focus in oak, fragrant, very clove-like spice. The fruit is overripe stone fruit, nectarine, yellow peach but all underneath the clove layer. There are also some toffees, toasted, roasted barley/malt notes here.
    In the palate, the wine shows full body. The wine is again focused way more in the oak treatment with clove, roasted barley notes, savoury altogether, smoked paprika notes. Whatever fruit is here – and it’s not much to begin with – is hiding under all the spices and smoke, med to long finish

    In the nose, the palate follows the pattern of the nose. The wine shows med body, med to high acidity, a bit grippy texture, musky muscat-like fruit notes, med finish. Viscous with some rose petal notes.
