Tasted blind. Fresh, fennel nose, flinty. Bit of sweetness. Sweet apple and maybe pear. Too sweet for me. Very sweet lemon. Another Giaconda chard that I just don't get. 90

Tasted blind. Lots of grapefruit on the nose. Smells oily. Powerful, better acid and drive than the 17 Giaconda next to it. Really smart wine, great structure. More lemon coming through. Really like this. This was my first bottle of Kumeu River and I'm a fan! 95.

Tasted blind. Spicy oak on the nose. Good body. Electric lemon. Not the back palate of good white burg but does have drive. 94.

Tasted blind. Pear nose, reductive. Some grapefruit. Really good. Succulent. More fruit power. Linear. Lovely. This bottle again showed that Penfolds makes better whites than reds. 95+

Tasted blind. Really pretty. Raspberry, strawberry, balanced. Perhaps a little simple but it's nice to drink. Perfumed and floral. 94+

Tasted blind. Super pretty nose. Fresh and floral. Palate is tangy but is lacking concentration and fruit weight. It's ok. 91.

Tasted blind. Bit of millipede on the nose. Tannins at the back of the palate but the fruit is gone. Quite full mouth coating and rich, but I think this is a faulty bottle.

Tasted blind. Stewed strawberries and some menthol. Some at the table thought that the spirit is slightly sticking out but I thought it was in good balanced with the fruit. 95.

Tasted blind. Apple, breadth, bit of bitterness. 1g of dosage. 60+ year old vines. Green apple. The same edge of bitterness that I got with the bottle of 2019 last month. Looking really nice, great acid and drive. 94
