Sit down tasting. Magnum disgorged on 2019. Chardonnay stands out here with its bright orchard fruit character throughout, but especially on its longish finish. Very good now with likely further upside from here.
Sit down tasting. Lemon and lemon peel with some floral touches. The Extra Brut character is slightly more pronounced that I would consider ideal, but I think that is the norm for this cuvée.
Sit down tasting. Lemon, lime, with bright apple aromas that come through as delicately floral. Everything follows through on the palate with both a richness and lean character at the same time, all with impressive depth. I was shocked to find out this is Brut Nature given that engaging richness.
Sit down tasting. Disgorged 2021. Apple, pear, toasted brioche with floral touches and exceptional depth. There is that touch of an oxidative style, but it is not even close to front-and-center, so not distracting.
Sit down tasting. It would be difficult to to mistake this coming from anybody other than Selosse or a Selosse acolyte. Oxidative style is the first and second things you observe here, despite other far more interesting elements almost lost in the background. I understand how some people might enjoy this oxidative style of Champagne but I am not one of those people.
Sit down tasting. Both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir strut their stuff here, but I find Chardonnay (40%) to be the star. Apple and baked apple with a touch of berry, all very bright on the finish.
Sit down tasting. Baked apple, berry compote, lots here with good depth. Ready for right now. A BdN that manages to seem (to me at least LOL) to seem like there is some Chardonnay in the background.
Sit down tasting. There are several versions of this, and this bottle is the one that was 50 months on lees. Rich red fruits with faint fresh herbs and great intensity. Exceptional grace and balance, even if not a powerhouse. Great now.
Sit down tasting. 2020 vintage. Berry with herbs and spices, this is both bright and early meaty. Still slightly awkward, but lots here, and upside from here. Still red wine added at bottling.
Juts off the boat. Small taste. What I love about Ursules, this showcases Pinot Noir so well, but seems so complex and layered that you think there is even more here.
Late night popped-and-poured. Noticeable reduction makes this tough to fairly / fully assess. Fleshy and ripe apple manure to emerge with enough structural intensity to show its brightness. This will drink well young.

Sit down tasting. Incredibly elegant and graceful with good weight and faintly mature berry notes. Another gram of dosage would made this even better.

Sit down tasting. Bright apple and lemon with precision and freer length. Lots here, but more tart on the finish than I’d consider ideal.
