Really lovely Bourgogne. It’s fresh with a flinty reductive elements that are rather strong on the finish. Quite fleshy and rounds out, rather concentrated for Bourgogne. Contains plots from Meursault Pommard and even a small amount of aligote from Chassagne so now a vin de France.

Light and ethereal, with a lifted red fruit core. Gained some weight with air. Rather soft palate and light intensity. Finish a bit short and lacking intensity for a 1er, but this is a lovely elegant wine that’s balanced and may gain some weight with age. 100% stems but not pushed down. Unfined unfiltered on lees so a bit cloudy. Planted as mosaic in the clos on the clay portions (Chardonnay on limestone).
Quite ripe and fleshy with a dark berry and black cherry character. Has more of a grand cru weight, with fine persistent tannins that are quite soft and velvety. Very lengthy persistent finish. This has a light lifted touch and despite the structure is not heavy at all.
Blend of 2 lieux-dits. Top and bottom of the hill. Berry driven but fine palate, just a hint of tannin. Relaxed profile quite fruity. Pulls together and tightens showing more vigor on the finish. Decent depth but maybe a bit less than expected for a VR. Finish a bit clipped.

From upper part of Suchot, above the road. A bit cloudy. Texture is lovely as it’s fleshy and relaxed and accessible. Quite fruity and forward, with a mild animal note on the palate. Persistent finish, with a stony mineral quality adding complexity. Quite a bit lighter and more lifted than expectations, complexity not there yet for a young 1er Vosne.
Central part of village, mid slope. Quite light. Strongly reductive, with a nuanced flinty nose.this carries on through the palate and hides the fruit a bit. Quite intense with fine tension, but there’s lushness and accessibility to the fruit. Quite reductive though so hard to read. 92+
Quite high on the slope by the forest. Deeper yellow color. Very reductive and flinty. But there’s deep fleshy fruit underneath. Quite intense and long on the finish. Liked this slightly more than Les Meix Chavaux as it seeming has more body. Still hard to read given the reduction.

Just a hint of reduction. Stoney, white flowers and other florals on the nose. Intense palate but the fruit is quite velvety and textured. This has a bit of everything. A lovely complete wine. This is mid slope on poor limestone.

At top of the hill by the forest. Deeper yellow color. Just a hint of reduction. Richer, full body with wonderful texture. This has incredible intensity and tension while remaining accessible. Should get better as the reduction resolves.
