Great opportunity to have a deep dive into the wines from this often overlooked commune from nearly a quarter of a century. Between we had many more options than could be examined but a theme we might well revisit in future.
My scribblings have more than an element of speed dating to them given I was in and out of the kitchen for most of the evening! Thanks to the team for their great company and terrific wines. Some of these producers and terroirs have been at the heart of the wonderful Bromley Wine Circle since its inception almost twenty years ago.

Sherbety lemon nose with some cherry and cassis as well. A touch of pear skin greenness. Palate is lean with sesame cracker and grapefruit pith. A couple of ppm of bitter lemon Schweppes mixer on the finish. 5g/l dosage.
