Introduction
Fun event and moved up due to the snow storm coming to MN. 2007 White Rose wine of the night for Pinot's but Abbott Claim still rocking as the best wine and it was a starter wine I provided.
NV Laurent-Perrier Champagne Cuvée Rosé Brut 92 Points
France, Champagne
Glasvin Champagne Stem. Very nice offering with strawberries, chalk, spice, rose petals and minerals. Found this good but had a bit too much chalk for my palate. Medium finish.

2022 Abbott Claim Chardonnay Temperance Hill Vineyard 96 Points

Glasvin Universal. Another stellar showing and got better with air and warmer temperature. Probably should have opened this on Thursday for the Saturday tasting. These are needing time like any high end red. Matchstick, sour apple, lemon, wood, minerals, saline, shells and orange peel. Medium to long finish. Outstanding Quality.

2004 Beaux Frères Pinot Noir The Beaux Frères Vineyard 90 Points

Glasvin Obsession. Color is muted. This wine for sure is past prime and wanted to try an older Pinot from Oregon. Would not spend $85 on another. Soy dried raspberries, floral, sour cherry, mint, earth and dust. Medium finish. Drink up.

2012 Beaux Frères Pinot Noir The Beaux Frères Vineyard 94 Points

Glasvin Obsession. This was much better than the 04 which was tired. Bright fruit featuring strawberries, cranberries and cherry. Rose petals, wood, spices and earth. Medium finish. Nice acidity.

Glasvin Obsession. The legendary wine. Mark said he had none left at the winery last summer. Seek and find a bottle on auction. Wow wine with funk, minerals, herbs, rose petals, forest floor, earth and cherry. Burgundy like. Medium plus finish. Outstanding offering.

Glasvin Obsession. Not digging this wine. Lacks fruit. Celery, spices, smoke, sour cherry and dust. Miss the Justice and White Rose Vineyard wines as Shea is an ok offering from Mark.

Glasvin Obsession. 13.9%. Natural cork. Nice wine and probably would have been better with a good decant. Raspberries, floral, soy, strawberries, rose petals, minerals and earth. Medium plus finish. Like it.
