sat next to laurent for the evening and enjoyed his wines tremendously and learned a great deal about them
very light at this point as it needs another 10+ years to mature. this score will rie substantially over time

this was this least impressive wine of the night. Laurent described this as salty which i had never heard before and i dont think this will ever be a great wine

this was the wine of the flight, well balance, still young but very drinkable
tis was the runner up in the first flight and i rated it best before we had food when the 2010 rose to the top.
This will be a classic wine. like most of the Grand crus the 2025s have shown greatness from the barrel on but still need more time to mature.
surprisingly good for a 2003, most of which are past there prime. this wine was still decent if not wonederful.
this is a knockout and has long been a favorite
like most 2000's it is a messy wine that like most wines of this vintage has never come together
classic 99 but it speaks more of the terroir than the vintage, which is rare and a pleasure
rich and showing the terroir
lightbut more showy than most 95s. very good right now
still maturing and will take anther 5 to 10 years to mature and the score will rise in that time frame
very elegantin the running with the 99 for wine of the flight
not as powerful as most 1990s but still very nice. this wine needed more time int he glass to show itself.
this wine was needed more time in the glass to open up
similar to the 86
not showing well, either the bottle or the vintage, i could not tell
Great wines from a great winemaker
