  • 2003 Niepoort Porto Colheita 96 Points

    Portugal, Douro, Porto

Creamy palate with light plum fruit combined with milk chocolate and a touch of orange.
It has an absolutely stunning and intense acidity which is really impressive. The wine is in a wonderful balance and has an elegant touch to it.
This wine was not bottled until 2023 and it is certainly a Colheita vintage to seek out for Niepoort. Absolutely Stunning!!!

  • 1968 Niepoort Porto White Colheita 92 Points

    Portugal, Douro, Porto

Oxidized red apple fruit with a touch of VA and medicine-cabinet. Quite dry on the palate and only a touch of sweetness can be detected.
For me, it lacks a bit of depth and length. It is an interesting wine but it didn't really excite me.
