Introduction
Evening of dining with Meg, Shane, Jane, Vanessa and Helen. As always, Vij's food impressed in a big way, and we found some nice wines to complement.
2006 Cristom Pinot Gris Estate
USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Eola - Amity Hills
Light straw gold color, with quite high viscosity. Surprising nose, a little floral with asian pears, apples (red, not green). Warm, ripe palate, balanced acidity, flavor of (lightly baked) apples, pears.

2006 JoieFarm Muscat

Light yellow, almost greenish color. Beautifully floral and very grapey on the nose, similar palete, some citrus notes, refreshing acidity. Great sipper.
