Introduction

The 2005 Angelus was the more charming wine today, but the Haut-Brion will age better. Rauzan-Segla was prett nice.

    France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

    Intense coffee (espresso), mint, cherry, oak, vanilla

  • 2005 Château Rauzan-Ségla 93 Points

    France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Margaux

    Floral, mint, cherry, woody, tobacco, earthy. Very nice fragrance and complexity but light on palate.

  • 2005 Château Angélus 95 Points

    France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

    Fruity blackberry, floral, vanilla, oak, liquorice, toast. Best wine of tasting today

  • 2005 Château Haut-Brion 95 Points

    France, Bordeaux, Graves, Pessac-Léognan

    Sandalwood (incense), blackcurrant, floral, coffee, vanilla, tobacco. Not as good as Angelus today but will be better in the future
