Such an exciting and aromatic nose with fresh and pretty citrus notes with fresh, crisp white fruits like pears. Very clean minerals, gentle toast with a touch of oxidation to add complexity.

Incredible acidity on the palate (fair warning, not for the faint of heart), providing awesome mouth-watering juiciness. Clean green apples with a nice golden flesh, crisp white-fleshed pears with tan skin, savory minerals with pristine salinity, almost like the pearl white inside of a clean oyster shell. Good brightness keeps this wine peak even though it does show a bit of age. Fine bubbles with a gentle caress.. yeah, right there..

So curious to see how this develops with age cause this was so damn good. 99-100

Gorgeous nose of black and dark red fruits, very aromatic yet shows great restraint, keeps things classy. A clean streak of graphite, earthy forest floor that grows more dense and darker green underbrush with time, and the fruits eventually integrate with everything with enough time.

Clean red fruits, darkness from earth and faded graphite. Bitter minerals and drags onto finish. A little tight atm, quite wound up and sharp and bitter. Opens up after about an hour and twenty in the decanter, the bitter tightness from the tannin is finally relaxing a bit.

The bitter tannins finally retreat after holding off a long and tiring line of defense from my tastebuds (this is after about 1.5 hrs in a decanter, then slow decanted in the bottle for another 2 hrs). The palates start to show more like what I expect it to be: black earth, classy dark red fruits. Intense but knows how to keep its composure. Bitterness is there but it's pleasurable now. Same goes to the acidity, it has settled down immensely and finally learned how to work with the other components.

I completely flubbed the wine prep on this one, if you see this B, my bad! If opening how, a big decant will do of at least 2-3 hours. I was worried of overshooting it but I should've known that this can easily take it. This has so much structure, it can tank the decanting with no problem. 97-98
