  • 2005 Château d'Epiré Savennières Cuvée Spéciale

    France, Loire Valley, Anjou-Saumur, Savennières

    Aromas of apples, honey, white flowers, nose is complex and delightful. Powdery texture and smooth finish. Great acidity and balance. Beautiful and tasty!

  • 2018 Alheit Vineyards Cartology Bushvines

    Aromas of apple orchard, bruised peach, vanilla, candy, touch of dried herbs. Almost full bodied with singing acidity, forward driving finish and length. There is just a touch (almost imperceptible) of a harsh volatile chemical taste on the fringes of the finish. Very good.

    France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru

    Loads of tertiary notes, prunes, dried fruits, leather, spice, cloves, and earthy notes. The body and structure of the wine is holding up very well, drinkable and a good accompaniment to food. Acidity is there and well balanced. Light tannins but a lingering finish. Drink up.

    Dark ruby with garnet/orange on the edges. Aromas of cherry drops and rich red fruits, some leather and prune, earth, compost, and herbs evolve out of the initial spin of the glass. Savory dark cherry and full bodied taste yet a light body mouth feel. Great acidity with some spiciness mid-palate on the finish. interesting wine
