Introduction

Medium ruby colored, mid level opacity. Mid level legs.

On the nose I got blackberry, red cherry, sandalwood, leather, maybe a hint of rosemary and a slight mineral aroma.

Front was good with cherry being prevalent and blackberry following. Tannin was bold.

Mid-palate the cherry and blackberry were strong, tannin was still bold. Acidity was there but slightly lacking. Got hints of leather and some mild oak.

Finish was fairly short, about 5-7 seconds. Tannin stayed bold all the way. Fruit was absent. Did get some slate or crushed stone.
